“Super” Sodiq Yusuff didn’t even break a sweat when he fought Don Shainis getting the 2nd fastest submission in the featherweight division at UFC Fight Night 211.

Don Shainis
“Shameless” Don Shainis, 31, was debuting in the promotion, held a record of 12-3 (now 12-4). Shainis has 8 wins by knockout, 2 by submission and 2 decision wins with a 67% finish rate.
The fight
The round started fast with the two locking horns immediately in the middle and clinching, but Yusuff, receiving body shots, got the better of him with brutal knees to the body.
In the midst of the action Shainis shot a takedown, but it was stuffed by Yusuff.
Yusuff quickly pulled guard after bringing Shainis to the canvas with him, quickly sinking in a guillotine. Shainis tapped within 30 seconds of the first round.
Sodiq Yusuff, known for knockouts, now holds the record for the 2nd fastest submission in UFC featherweight history and his 1st professional submission win.
Yusuff joking on the mic with commentator Paul Felder post-fight, asked the people who handle the UFC video game stats and rankings to up his grappling/submission from 2 1/2 stars cause he has been working a lot on it.
Yusuff, with his new 13-2 record, used his time wisely on the mic, wasting no time demanding for the Korean Zombie. Zombie’s last fight was to the champion Alexander Volkanovski where he lost by TKO in the 4th round.
