The Ukranian born fighter, who competes in heavyweight and light-heavyweight, Roman Kryklia, finishes another fight with a TKO inside of the first round coming at 0:52 at ONE 161 in the heavyweight division for the kickboxing world grand-prix semi-finals.
Roman weighing in at 232 lbs, is no stranger to finishes, has a 53% finish rate and a kickboxing and muay thai record of 47-7, a record of 4-0 in ONE FC and is a currently ONE FC’s light-heavyweight champ.
His opponent, Guto Inocente, 36, a Brazilian fighter with a record of 10-6-0, a kickboxing and muay thai record of 40-10, weighing in at 262 lbs looking to bring his self proclaimed thug style of fighting to the circled cage.
Round 1
This fight started off with no feeling out process, the two men just got straight to throwing leather. It wasn’t until Kryklia caught Inocente with a right straight that dropped him. The referee gave him a standing count, making it to 8. When the referee resumed the action Kryklia quickly put the pressure on Inocente landing a head-kick that put him on skates. The referee waived off the fight.
Incocente was visibly mad shaking his head “no” at the referee, then shouting walking around the cage after.
Conclusion
Roman Kryklia defeated Guto Inocente at 0:52 of the first round. Kryklia was asked after if he thought the stoppage was early. He denied and stated he thought it was a good stoppage. He also predicted he will rematch Iraj Azizpour who won earlier that night and beat him previously in a kickboxing match.
Kryklia received $50,000 bonus for his performance.
