Khamzat Chimaev turns down fight with Alex Pereira

Speaking on the MMA Hour with his translator, Alex Pereira talked about Khamzat Chimaev.

Returning fire back at Chimaev who has been calling him out since his win at UFC 281 becoming middleweight champion and mocking his grappling and for receving his brown belt from the Adesanya bout.

Pereira expressed how Chimaev is always going for the fights that are “impossible” or he will never get. He also added that he is the type of guy who goes after easy fights.

Trolling him with this post below.

Pereira also said that the call out from Chimaev to make the fight on December 10th was just self promotion for Chimaev.

Pereira said that he spoke with his manager to make the fight at UFC Rio (in Brazil) at 205lbs, light-heavyweight, but Chimaev doesn’t want.

Pereira wanted this because they know it is hard for him to make the weight, and he added, Chimaev is a big guy, I’m a big guy, let’s do it at 205.

But crickets came from Chimaevs side.

Pereira also responded to Brendan Schaub who actually said Chimaev will take him down in 30 seconds, saying between some “choice” words he had for Schaub, he would like them to both bet $50,000 that Chimaev cannot take him down in 30 seconds.

The $50,000 on both sides which would be both be donated to a good cause.

Who do you wanna see Pereira fight next, Chimaev or Adesanya?
