Kevin Holland says retirement is still on the table due to fighters receiving unfair treatment

Kevin Holland had his media scrum interview today and told them how he is really feeling.

Kevin holland who is fighting UFC veteran Stephen Thompson at welterweight December 3rd in the main event of UFC Fight Night Orlando, is looking to see if his Kung-Fu can beat Thompson’s Karate.

As much of a great fight this is expected to be, there comes the old “R” word again out Kevin Hollands mouth, retirement!

Retirement?

Kevin Holland sitting down with the media was asked a question by interviewer, and now amateur fighter Oscar Willis asked how serious was his retirement, of which he announced after his last bout against Chimaev at UFC 279.

To which Holland replied,

“serious as hell. super serious and uhh, it’s still on the table”.

Holland who doesn’t seem happy with the unfair treatment other fighters are getting voiced his opinion saying,

“if I wake up sunday morning after beating Wonderboy and you guys have chimaev fighting for 185lbs real title, and he has never won a fight at 85 (middleweight), at the top 15, I’m retired”.

But still very happy with the promotion and also proclaims he understands the business following up with,

“I understand business is business, but favouritism is favourtism”.

Holland hinted at some conversations he had with the promotion stating,

certain things have  to go certain ways, if they dont go certain ways, if we dont get what we were promised, things that we talked about aren’t honoured, ya they might as well give me my resignation papers and let me go home and smoke weed and play video games for the rest of my life“.

Not content on the unfair treatment some older fighters are getting, Holland expressed how he was mad about fighters like Bo Nickal and Raul Rosas Jr. who were put in the video game without having 1 single fight in the promotion, only on DWCS.

He expressed some fighters are getting Dana White Privilege,

“its just certain things that just dont make sense, at the end of the day, if we are here and we are here to be even, everybody should have a fair chance, we are fighters, we fight for what we want, we should all be able to fight for what we want, we should all be able to get the same things if we are fighting the same way”.

Kevin Holland ended the topic saying

“I’m here to do what I feel like is right and if i feel like something isnt right, i will move the f*ck around cause that is what I do”.

Is Holland being a Drama Queen or do you agree with him?
