Dana White On Darren Till: “I Don’t Think His Stock Dropped At All”

Welp,

the verdict is out by the bossman Dana White, he seemed to be happy with Darren Tills performance at UFC 282 against Dricus Du Plesis, giving them Fight Of The Night bonus.

I mean, unhappy as the fans were with seeing middleweight Darren Till lose for the third straight time. Twice by submission. Most thought he was on his way out the door.

Darren Till came out saying he is not retired,

“but I think I’m going to have a little time off from the UFC.”

Till who sacrificed a lot this camp, being away from his family, despite having a newborn that he never saw birthed into existence, came into this fight looking great.

The first round he lost due to being outgrappled for majprity of it. In the second, showing his heart, not getting down on himself winning it by outstriking Du Plesis on the feet.

Till, looking good entering the third was quickly taken down by the stronger opponent, controlled, then flattened out, getting submitted in round 3 by RNC.

In the post-fight press conference Dana White was asked what is next for Darren Till where he replied,

That’s the Fight Of The Night, I don’t think his stock drops at all, uhhm if he would have went out there and got destroyed in the first round like it looked like, but he did the exact opposite. He weathered that storm, stayed out of submissions, he comes back and you think he gonna win the fight, I thought it was an awesome fight.
