Christian Lee, the former lightweight champ defeated the current lightweight champion Ok Rae Yoon in a championship bout, scheduled for five rounds. The Former lightweight wanted to prove again why he is the best lightweight. And proved just that, and why being a champion is a family affair. With his sister, Angela Lee holding ONE’s atomweight belt.
Lee started off the fight heavily pressuring Yoon landing heavy shots. Yoon having visible redness on his face by the middle of the first round was having trouble fighting his fight. Lee dropped Yoon with 1:30 to go in the very first round, but Yoon making it to the second.
It was just under one minute into round two that Lee dropped Yoon again with a right hand and finished him off with grounded knee strikes. Getting the TKO win.
Christian expressed his appreciation for the $50,000 bonus, and how he is grateful for his team, and all those he has around him. Especially his family, mom and dad included who were there in attendance to watch him reclaim the title and keep the championship lineage in the family.
