If you follow @ChaelSonnen on Twitter you would see his occasional barrage of tweets in response to John Cena’s positive tweets which would appear to come out of nowhere.
Everybody, clueless to how this beef started between the WWE superstar and UFC star, media mogul, commentator and promoter from time to time Chael Sonnen.
Chael spoke on the MMA Hour, and when asked about his problem with John Cena, it came down to a problem of jealousy, or as Chael puts it,
“a corrupt desire to have what he has”.
Chael who is very popular on the social media platform said,
“I take twitter very serious and I was massive at one point”.
And
“There was one point on twitter I had an article written about me that I was bigger than Justin Bieber”.
Chael explained how Twitter is something he takes very serious and appreciates the platform, and gaining a following is something he worked hard for while remaining himself.
He seems to have a problem with people who don’t seem to be themselves on social media which is a problem with many people, not only celebs,
“It’s not him, he is not on twitter, it’s clearly not him, he very clearly has an assistant going and took this approach of sunshine up everybody’s a**, it’s painful and it’s boring and it works, it shouldn’t work”.
Was the way Sonnen put it.
But it is not only that problem he has with Cena, Chael believes he is using something a little extra to get his physique together.
“when guys are taking steroids you should say you are”
Chael went on too say how he grew up with those people around him telling him to work hard, and isn’t impressed with the same old sob stories of try hards.
Telling Ariel,
“If I woulda just known, oh and by the way and stick a needle in your a** it could have saved me 20 years of pumping weights and then been depressed when I look in the mirror”.
Chael then compares John Cena to the Liver King saying both are potentially lying about how they got their physiques.
