Asael Adjoudj get a first round TKO in his Bellator debut

The twenty-three year old French featherweight Asael “The Sultan” Adjoudj (4-1) debuted on Bellator’s 285 prelims and made quick work of his opponent Jordan Barton.

Jordan Barton (7-3), who is from England and six years older at twenty-nine than Adjoudj has power in his hands as well with four of his wins coming by knockout. Despite his power he was not able to get his shots off first as Adjoudj was faster and sharper with his.

Adjoudj dropped Barton with a right hook in the first round but Barton was able to quickly get up and try to come back. It wasn’t until Adjoudj threw a swift left-legged head-kick that made Barton’s legs go stiff and he dropped to the canvas.

Adjoudj followed up with ground-and-pound resulting in the referee to call off the fight at 2:39 of the first round.
