UFC born and bred welterweight Mickey Gall was on the end of some deceiving news over the last 24 hours regarding his position as a fighter on the UFC roster.
The proud New Jerseyean, who has a current record of 7-5, with 6 wins coming by way of submission was currently was reported by many news outlets to have been let go by the promotion.
Gall, being raised in the UFC promotion, only having 1 fight outside of it, came into the UFC on a 3 fight win streak. As of late having ups-and-downs in regards to his record, losing one and then winning one. Currently riding a 2 fight losing streak.
Despite the news, Gall reassured via his social media stating, “Don’t believe everything you read, I have NOT parted ways with the UFC. I did fight out my contract and have not signed a new one yet. I grew up in the UFC and love the UFC. But I am keeping my mind and all doors open. I’m still young and very hungry. I will keep you all posted trust me.“
Gall has fought out his contract, meaning his has no more contractual obligations to fight within the UFC and can sign with a new promotion if he wishes, or back with the UFC.
