Narullo Aliev Is The First UFC Fighter To Represent Tajikistan In The UFC
Narullo Aliev is the first fighter to be signed to the UFC roster to represent Tajikistan. Aliev, Born in Dushnabe took on American Josh Wick tonight in a scheduled bout in the lightweight division to possibly get a UFC contract.
Narullo who is 22 was the favourite going in at -540 making him the biggest favourite on the card. Coming into this scheduled bout he was undefeated with a record of 6-0, Eagle FC lightweight champ and Sambo Asian Champ. His opponent Josh Wick, who strikingly resembled Vitalik Buterin was a +430 underdog, finishing 10 of his 12 fights, 3 by KO and 7 by submission. Wick also has 5 first round finishes and never been finished himself before.
Narullo made quick work of his opponent with his heavy sambo style. He shot on Wick within 0:35 seconds of the first round and had WIck against the cage but caught a nasty eye-poke that gave him a 1:18 break to recover. The referee gave back the position to Narullo on the cage.
Narullo eventually gets the take down and lands in top position, continuing to dominate the position before both start exchanging elbows. from top position, Aliev postures up and rains down blows on Wick ultimately having the referee to step in and call the fight with 0:24 seconds remaining in the first round.
Excitedly he yells words Dana White and matchmakers how he is ready to fight next week. Dana liked the performance so much he decided to give him a UFC contract.
