The battle of the Michaels happened this evening in the main event of BKFC London where Bellators own Michael Venom Page and Former UFC fighter and BKFC fighter Michael “Platinum” Perry faced off in a 6 round fight. It was a complete slugfest with Page getting dropped within the first round and the referee giving Page a standing count. Page steadily picked it up in the next 5 rounds landing heavy shots on Perry, but was visibly fatigued in the 6th. Perry had a swollen jaw with a potruding bump and Page a swollen orbital and closed left eye.
This was the 2nd time in BKFC history that there has been a bout going to the 6th round since 2020. A full 12 minute fight giving London fans exactly the show they expected. The bout ended up going to the judges score cards giving Mike Perry the decision win. Perry, slurring from his injuries in his in-the-ring interview, took his time on the mic to call out Jake Paul as his next fight.
