Youtube star and undefeated professional boxer Jake Paul tweeted out after the co-main event of the UFC 278 Usman vs. Edwards card.
Jake Paul who only wrestled in highschool and has been boxing professionally since January 2020 received much deserved backlash for this comment.
Paul who has never stepped foot inside an octagon is always calling out UFC fighters. Fighters that are generally past their prime. Paul has even called out Dana White and wrote a diss track about him.
Jake Paul has had 3 scheduled bouts as of late. None of them have gone through. He has had 2 cancelled bouts with Tommy Fury and the most recent with Hasim Rahman Jr. At the current moment it seems Jake Paul is targetting a fight with another Youtube star KSI (Olajide Olayinka Williams Olatunji).
Logan, Jakes brother fought KSI twice, first time going to a majortiy draw, the second, Logan won by split decision.
Jake Paul consistently calls out fighters that are past their prime (Rockhold just retired), or he is aware are under contract and cannot fight, as they will be breaking that contractual obligation to the UFC. But in this case Costa specified it is his last fight, or that he has one left.
