24 year old Eric Basran hailing from Surrey, BC defeats Juan Carlos Ramirez in a 6 round bout in the lightweight division.
Basran came into this confident as the first fight to kick off the Irresistible II: Clavel vs. Plata card.
Right from the bell Basran took no time to to wate, engaging with his opponent, leading with his jab, tagging him.
It was apparent that by the second and third round Basran was a step ahead of Ramirez in every department. Landing the more significant strikes, and making Ramirez miss his shots.
As round four and five came and went, Basran turned up the volume and started throwing power shots, but Ramirez who was showing his toughness and ability to take a shot.
In round six Basran was landing hard left hooks and right straights, but Ramirez just wouldn’t go down.
Eric Basran won by unanimous decision 60-54, 60-54 and 60-54.
