Mazlum Akdeniz, Continental WBC super light champion retains his belt!
This was one of the most action packed fights of the night!
Cristian Bielma was contesting Mazlum’s belt on Canadian soil, but Mazlum shuts down that offer.
The story of the fight was Mazlums double jab to straight left.
He could not miss with that dropping his opponent 5 times within the scheduled 10 round bout.
Dropping him twice with it to the body and three times to the head.
The crowd booing on the fourth knockdown insinuating to the ref to stop the fight, which seemed reasonable, but Cristian is a gamer and kept getting up and moving forward.
Mazlum, who was not even mouth breathing by the end of the 10th round told the crowd “that his coaches told him he needs to work more on his offense to get the knockout”.
Which was astonishing because he was all offense this bout coming in there like a bull throwing power shots galore.
This was Mazlums first title defense as champion and wants to move into the American market as he said to make his name grow. He is also willing to come and defend his belt in 1 month.
Mazlum won by Unanimous decision and keeps his undefeated record 18-0-0.
The sccorecards read 100-87, 100-87 and 100-87.
